Among men there is a kind of solidarity which makes us proud sometimes, and often ashamed of being of humanity.
Jean-Baptiste Say

I am sure that each of us remembers what he (she) did when he learned of the attacks on the World Trade Center on September 11, 2001.

If I thought for a brief moment that it was still a Hollywood disaster film with one of the stars of the genre at the time, I quickly became prostrate when I realized that we were "living" live on television a terrible attack . Completely paralyzed and, horrified by what I saw, I remember sitting for a long time watching the images over and over again witouhout making any sense out of it.

It all made no sense. It is easier to believe that wars strike "elsewhere" but, in this case the situation changed and, the countries which thought themselves safe from any strike became targets. The target of attacks, without distinction, the target of terrorists who claim to be people they will never be. They are actually monsters.

Since then, and throughout the world, numerous attacks have been perpetrated, humanity is touched, weakened, while demonstrating strength and solidarity. If we are not safe, we cannot live in fear, it would be to give reason to these monsters, who strike blindly, convinced that a place is reserved for them in paradise !? I despise them for using religion as a mean of justification, they are and will remain cowards, monstrous cowards. Some call terrorists "animals", I do not agree, animals follow the law of nature and kill by necessity, even if the vision is often cruel to us.

I want to tell these terrorists, that unlike them, people are Heroes. The victims, the survivors, the families, the anonymous are Heroes, but not them.

Aristotle defined the monster as a product that does not look like its parents, a defective being, discarded from the generic type from which it came ..... a fair definition of terrorists, I think!

I believe that the world can be proud following the attacks of its united, humanist impulses. Thousands of people who thus cry out in anger, even in silence during marches against terrorism.

Always there, standing in memory of the too many victims.

Below are some pictures for moments that I usually want to live alone, uncomfortable when there are too many people and, above all, difficult to manage my fear of disturbing - which is ridiculous - when, in fact, we are strangers together!

It is true, I like to go to the place "after", the story speaks to me better, more ...

Extract from "Angels & Demons" by Dan Brown

"-Terrorism has a very specific goal, but which one? Asked the person in charge of the seminar.

... / ...

-Save terror?

-In short, yes. The purpose of terrorism is simply to cause fear & terror. Fear undermines confidence in the political class. It weakens the enemy from the inside, it demoralizes the public. Remember: terrorism is not the expression of uncontrollable fury, it is a political weapon.

Deprive a government of its facade of infallibility and the people will lose confidence in it "
