In the madness of Rouen

People can bitch as much as they want because there is always work going on in town, because the city is this or that. I continue to love Rouen and to admire this magnificent city, the events, the efforts made by the traders during the holidays, I never cease to be conquered like the day when I saw umbrellas and frames hanging from the windows of a street adjacent to the Gros Horloge.
A gift. A smile on this gray day.

A Christmas between umbrellas and nude frames

A Christmas more original than with garlands

Deco recycling

A flower of umbrellas

Rouen with joy

Simply awesome

Some great ideas !

The Armada is celebrated in the streets of Rouen

Already in May 2019 pennants and flags bearing the effigy of the countries decorated the streets of Rouen, suggesting a great event to come. But which one?
It took me a little while to guess that it was for the Armada, a moment that I was looking forward to ...

Petit Salut street.

Champmesle street.

The medieval buildings with the colours of England... Historically, it does it .

... I go to discover the other streets ...

Cauchoise street .

Brazil , on Bec street with a view on the Courthouse

In the Saint-Maclou district, the pennants were multicolored.

Damiette street .

Also known as the "Street of Antiques"

You can see from Damiette Street, The Abbey of Saint-Ouen.

Père Adam street.

The street of Father Adam as seen from the Street of the Republic.

House located on Father Adam Street.

St. Maclou's Church, on the side of Martainville street.

Martainville street.
But give me back my sneakers!

The residents of Massacre Street are always very creative.

It's contemporary art on a medieval street in Rouen

A nice way to recycle...
