I have not yet explored the Left Bank as it should be, obsessed with the history and architecture of our sumptuous Right Bank which I do not stop enjoying.
The Left Bank is more recent but does not fail to conceal small architectural gems of yesteryear.
I really like its popular side, accessible to everyone, colorful and multiracial.
If the rivalry between the two banks is noticeable, I walk from one bank to the other easily. I am surprised when neighbors tell me that they rarely, if ever, go to the Left Bank.
I prefer not to know the reasons which will certainly disappoint me.
I always rejoice in advance when I know that we are going to the Place des Emmurées' market where the atmosphere is festive, people talk to each other easily, the sellers are jovial, unadorned.
It smells like the sun (and under the Normandy sky, it's quite a victory!), The spices, the sun-drenched olives, the Maghreb bread which I love ... I then feel spoiled, everything is tempting .I feel at home in this jovial atmosphere where we are treated as equals, without discrimination, always with respect for each other.
Only people count and not their social status.
Yes, going to the Left Bank is also a celebration. I hope that the refractory will understand this.
The Left Bank is not just the Tax Center building! ...
For those who still doubt of the history of the Left Bank, I advise you to read here that of the Place des Emmurées. This place is not just a market of all categories!
As for the Saint-Sever church , it is not "only" the landmark of the Saint-Sever Shopping Center, it has an interesting history and varied shops around.

"It's gonna be a hit !..."

Tobacco jars finally released from their grid!
Proof that chance sometimes does things well. Since 2012, it was the first time that I had and my camera and that the grid protecting this cabinet was raised, I took the opportunity ... it only took me 7 years of patience!
If I find these pots funny and original , it is clear that I would not buy them. It's a bit kitsch ... OK, very kitsch!
But I continue to find this display distracting ...
