The Brasserie Paul , located at 1,Cathedral square, is our favorite "canteen" when my adored Parisians (they were my ray of sunshine when they came on vacation to Greece and, are still and always when they come to spend the weekend at Rouen).
Each time, we arrive convinced to choose other starters than the previous time but, the "Chausson de Madame Paul" inevitably calls us from the kitchen!
Imagine a puff pastry with camembert, apples and, cider sauce - Normandy in its purest state ... the waiting time of 7 minutes is nothing when you know that you are going to have a good time and hips plus!!!...
The staff is charming, efficient, professional and know how to make us believe that we are unique, as if we were as famous as their customers from the past.
A real change of scenery in Rouen today.
